Recently I noticed that one of my affiliates was doing extremely well. He has been an affiliate of mine for a long time but never really did that many sales. The only difference was that he has just set up his first website.

 

All of a sudden he had started to make a small fortune in sales but with very little clicks through to the affiliate link. In fact one in 3.5 people were actually signing up and earning him an income.

 

I had to find out why?

 

So I contacted him and simply asked him. It was really simple actually even though I had never thought of doing it myself. He has a review and an affiliate link on his thanks page after someone had either opted in to his mailing list or purchased a product. Because people were already in the money mood and had trust in the seller they were more than happy to consider purchasing something that this bloke recommended.

 

He said he often favoured free membership sites where a customer of his received something for free but because his affiliate link had been taken into account if they then went back to that website and made a purchase he would still receive an affiliate payment.

 

This is a very simple formula and can up your income by up to 50%. Even if you just have one sale a week why would you want to waste a thank you page.

 

I promote other peoples products too, not on a full time basis but by taking advantage of space on my website especially thank you pages. I just put in a simple DSM recommends and a link to a related website.

 

My very first sale was from an affiliate link and it is a very powerful way to earn a living you shouldn't let people tell you otherwise.
