| Into The Sony Xperia S: Views Of A Sony Lover Posted: 27 May 2012 12:39 AM PDT The first cell phone gifted to me was a Sony Ericsson. So there is a special connection between us and I have always admired sony’s range of electronic products, be it the stunning looks of a Bravia or the sound systems or anything else. Recently the decade old marriage between Sony and Ericsson ended and they went their own separate ways. There is no two ways regarding the aesthetics and looks. It’s stunning and gorgeous. Carefully crafted into a monolithic design it seems like a fantastic next generation toy that is born to impress. It’s sturdy and clean. And then there’s the much talked about illuminated transparent strip that sits pretty well on the body. It adds to the classy looks. The display is a cool 4.3 inch, 1280×720 pixel. It sports a TFT-LCD and also brags an amazing 342 pixels per inch. When combined with the Sony Bravia engine and an image/video enhancing software what we get is an extremely sharp, crisp and retina like display. The contrast, sharpness and colour reproduction is very good but the viewing angles off-centre are a not as good. The camera is equipped with an amazing 12 megapixel lens which gives the feeling as to how advanced cell phone cams have become. It also sports a famed Exmor R sensor that enhances shooting outdoors. A strange absence of micro sd card slot stings. The battery is no longer removable. With quad core processors already creating ripples in the market you may feel a bit less as it has a dual core CPU. Also with the launch of android 4.0 the inclusion of gingerbread might seem harsh for those who are on the lookout for the latest versions. Related posts:

| The Tribez: Shape The Culture Your Way On iPhone Posted: 27 May 2012 12:07 AM PDT How often have you played the game where you've imagined how different the world would be if someone from our time went back into history and began shaping the culture? What if you went back even further, to the time when humans were just discovering fire and figuring out how to use tools? You have the answer; The Tribez has been launched for the iPad. The Tribez is the newest Adventure & Family game from Game Insight LLC. Tribez is not just a game! Tribez is an adventure, where you travel to a distant past full of secrets, mysteries and many hours of addictive discovery of an unknown, but beautiful world! You are invited to visit a mysterious, primitive world inhabited by a peace-loving people, who have been hidden behind a miles-deep portal from time immemorial. Build your own stone-age village, explore territories hidden by mountains and seas, and lead your tribe, who considers you sent by the gods, to prosperity. Gameplay progresses through a series of quests and timed challenges, so you won't be spending all your time as chief merely clicking on fields and watching meters fill. There are also hidden items to discover in each level, as well as wild animal attacks which you'll have to fend off. Things aren't all doom and gloom though, as The Tribez takes a very light hearted approach. It's much more Flintstones than Terra Nova. Sadly, no word yet on if you can domesticate dinosaurs and turn them into the ancient versions of a telephone or can opener. Help the leaders of neighbouring tribes, develop your country’s economy, discover new lands, populate them with your tribesmen, and tame dinosaurs! Tribez is a world in which you feel alive!
Some of the key features are: What makes The Tribez genuinely pleasant to play is the attention paid to the graphics. Buildings are large and colourful, with designs that get more complex as you level them up. Your islands are full of life, with pterodactyls, small mammals, and brightly coloured insects constantly moving around the map. Even your villagers are surprisingly detailed, which animations for having conversations, eating, or just taking a load off. The Tribe doesn't bring anything new the city builders, but it’s a very charming take on a genre that’s perfectly suited for tablet play. You too can download the game for iPad here. Related posts:

| Motorola ICS Shown Off On Motorola Droid Razr Posted: 26 May 2012 10:30 PM PDT We recently told you that Motorola were working hard to get Ice Cream Sandwich on board to their faithful customers and had released a tentative schedule of rolling out updates here. However, it seems like ICS is not too distant reality now for all those on Motorola Droid Razr. A video was released that showed off the moves of this wonderful dessert operating system on the super sleek and dare i say sharp Droid Razr. So if you are a proud owner of the device, look no further, here is the video. So what are your opinions on ICS on this fantastic device? I personally feel most of the groundwork was done in the previous gingerbread updates only and due to MotoBlur not enough ICS action was visible. Do you share my views or are satisfied with the release? Do let us know in the comments section below. Related posts:
