Although it launched in its Beta version. Well what is Beta? It means it is launched for testing purpose some changes upgrades can be done after. Everybody was waiting for 12 generation and here it is. Lots of visual changes has been done in 12.04 version. You can go to complete list of download – Click Here If you already a Ubuntu user you can upgrade it from your previous version Upgrading from Ubuntu 11.10 To upgrade from Ubuntu 11.10 on a desktop system, press Alt+F2 and type in “update-manager -d” (without the quotes) into the command box. Update Manager should open up and tell you: New distribution release ’12.04′ is available. Click Upgrade and follow the on-screen instructions. To upgrade from Ubuntu 11.10 on a server system: install the update-manager-corepackage if it is not already installed; launch the upgrade tool with the commandsudo do-release-upgrade -d; and follow the on-screen instructions. Note that the server upgrade is now more robust and will utilize GNU screen and automatically re-attach in case of e.g. dropped connection problems.
