I am always crazy about good pictures and good photos don’t only mean to have good quality but the camera should be able to capture the image at perfect time. This is exactly what photographers have found in last Wild Wonders of Europe Photography Contest. Some great skills photographers have managed to seize the wild nature on everlasting films. I happened to find them on Spiegel and now I am featuring to you guys. I hope you like them and admire the skill and hard work.

1. The first grand prize for the 2010/2011 Wild Wonders of Europe competition went to Spaniard José Luis Rodríguez, who managed to photograph nine European Bee-eaters nestled onto a single branch together on a rainy May day.

2. The second grand prize winner, from the “Young Crew” youth category, was 17-year-old Frenchman Quentin Martinez, who went underwater for a unique perspective of a marsh frog paddling along.

3. Other winners included German photographer Christian Schweiger, who took this photo near Finland’s Kiilopää at a temperature of -36 degrees Celsius.

4. Russian Igor Bartaschov surprised this short-eared owl in his submission to the annual online photography contest.

5. Spaniard Jose Luis Rivero managed to find a Black-winged Kite just before capturing its prey.

6. Grand Prize winner in the youth category Quentin Martinez also took this photo of another frog.

7. …an insect that French participant Constant Couteille also found to be a worthy subject.

8. This image of fuzzy Common Tern chicks was taken by young photographer Ilari Tuupanen of Finland.
